The apple harvest kept our outdoor teams busy.  Handling the fruit carefully is important so there are no bruises.  Earlier pruning made it easier to pick without the use of ladders.

The groups worked well together – the taller people reaching the top fruit while the short ones could dive underneath the trees!

Other trees came down in the storms creating some great fuel and revealing some lovely patterns.

After the final coffee shop in October we started creating goods and preserves for sales in the run up to Christmas.  Expertise on the sewing machine was very welcome:
